About Us
I am a general practitioner who enjoys working with a variety of patient concerns. Some areas I have focused on include pain, headaches, autoimmune disorders, mental health, stroke, spinal cord injuries, oncology, gut health, women’s health and fertility. I work with patients and other care providers to make sure you are getting the best care available to you.
I have been in practice since 2004 and have completed both a double masters degree in eastern medicine as well as a doctoral program. My interests are in helping you find your way to your best self through not only eastern medicine but nutritional and lifestyle changes. I have additional training in oncology and hospital based acupuncture as well as Andean shamanic practices.
Currently, and for almost the last decade, I am working both inpatient and outpatient for Regions hospital Tuesday through Friday which leaves just Monday hours for this Minneapolis location. I work in every department within the hospital and focus a lot of my time there helping patients navigate a variety of complicated pain scenarios. Outpatient I work at Health Partners Neuroscience center treating patients with a complex variety of neurological disorders. I am also one of the lead acupuncturists working on two research studies in acupuncture at Health Partners Neuroscience Center.
In my free time I enjoy writing fiction, hiking, travel and time with family.
